I have 2 ACD's a 30in, and a 23in hooked up to an 08 Mac Pro atm. However I am needing a 27in iMac for traveling purposes (I am a wedding photographer and will be using this for client meetings/weddings). But I am also looking to replace my Mac Pro with the iMac, seeing that its a pretty big speed increase, I do want to use all 3 screens on the iMac....

Looking to get:
3.4 27"
4gb (I would upgrade the RAM to 12gb after the purchase.)
SSD/1TB
2gb vid

Since I will be running 3 screens I assume it would be benefital to get the 2gb video card? I don't play games and I will only using this machine for paperwork, very intensive lightroom and photoshop work and a little bit of video work with FCP studio.

The other question is would lightroom and PS benefit from the SSD at all besides starting up quicker? (example: would pictures in lightroom render quicker?)

Would this iMac be overkill with what I want to use it for?

I run 3 screens on a 2011 27" iMac with the bog standard 512Mb card (Radeon HD 6770M)

1680 x 1050
1920 x 1080
2560 x 1440

Seems totally fine for my purposes (VMWare fusion mainly)
