Apple Music A decent AM guide?

Does anyone have a (link) to a decent AM guide? I have been using on a 3 month free trial and am 'struggling' with it and just want to make sure I am not missing something. Examples:

• I like certain music types yet I only seem to be presented with what Apple wants me to listen to.. no I don't want to listen to Ed Sheeran
• I am listening to a playlist.. close app.. open again.. have to now search for playlist again
• At no stage does it learn my tastes
• How do change the home page

Just feels like Apple wants me to listen to today's favourite pop music.

I don't personally use Apple Music (the service), but have you looked at Apple's own support articles?

This is one of the reasons I cancelled my Apple Music subscription. I now have a Qobuz studio subscription. For £12.99 you get better music recommendations, reopen the app and start albums, playlists where you left off and altogether a more intuitive experience . The Apple Music app for me is a mess but I understand many are happy to use it.
