Hello folks,

I am considering buying an iPod. I've always been a BlackBerry fan, but I do admit that I need a bigger screen (have the Bold 9900) to read stuff from. And now that the Bold had Hot Spot, I can branch out and buy any device I want!

I thought of the iPod because I wanted something small and yet at the same time has enough of a screen for me to read from!

Three questions:

1. Does the iPod have a microphone? i.e. if I wanted to use facetime or skype, do I have to use the headset?

2. I plan on keeping my iPod connected to my BlackBerry's wifi 24/7, does it consume a lot of bandwidth if on idle? (I know some apps are made to automatically update, but other than those, should I be concerned?), I have 2 GBs worth of data.

3. If I use Facebook on my iPod, would I still receive Facebook Pusg Notifications on my BlackBerry?

Thanks!

1. Yes.
2. I'm going to say no, you shouldn't be worried.. just because it should spend just as much data as an iPhone would. However, you probably shouldn't make any big app updates over 3G if you're skeptical.
3. No, why would it interfere? They're separate devices. Though it seems weird to me that you'd want to get both, since it seems like you'd be carrying both devices with you.
