Hey everyone, first post.

I bought an Intel iMac back in the end of 06 and recently I've been wanting to customize it more and more everyday.

Mainly I want to try overclocking it for games, I have both OS X and XP on boot camp and I would also like to know if it is at all possible to change the CPU in it to some more powerful.

And also would like to know the best option to get 5.1 sound in hopefully both OS's. My sound system is a Logitech X-530 so it connects through 3x 3.5mm (1/16") jacks.

PS: Please don't go on about how bad overclocking is, some people like to do it.

i don't know about the cpu but i once had a tool for over clocking the graphics card, i will se if i can find it if you are interested

I already am overclocking my GFX card right now with ATITool, I'm still only concerned with the CPU, is there anyway to get into the EFI menu anymore?

I know you could use the Sample Implementation from Intel, but its no longer available.
