Hi, I'm new to the forums and I have looked around, but I have a few questions that I would really appreciate if someone could answer.

First, my dad just cancelled my cell phone, and is making me get my own account for myself. I'm going to get the 60 dollar plan with the 10 extra dollars for the 1500 text messages. I'm 18, but I have no credit history. I know that AT&t or Cingular used to let customers put 500 dollars down, and then they would get it back at the end of the year. There was also an option that you could have a co-signer, or something like that. My dad said he would co-sign, so I was wondering if I would be able to do that, and still have the account under my name for the iPhone. Also, is there any step by step guide that goes in depth of each step of the iTunes activation, other than the one on apple.com, becuase I didn't find that one very useful.

Again, any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

well im not sure about the credit issue because ive never ran across it myself... but as far as the activation procedure... theres really not much more to it.

you open itunes (actually it should even do that for you). fill in the information it asks for, pick a plan, and presto. theres nothing really indepth about it.

Just try and activate it on iTunes, you must have a credit card, and if it says you need to go to an AT&T store bring your Dad with you so he can co-sign or what ever he needs to do.
