I had a chance to get out this evening for a little while and get in a few outside shots with the 40D and the 28-135mm kit lens. Hopefully we will get some warmer weather soon so make it a more enjoyable experience. Was kinda sunny, then a few sprinkles, then overcast but no sprinkles, at the end the wind picked up and it was rather unpleasant.

Definately enjoying having a quality camera, not that the old Fuji is bad, just a little slow and limited in comparison to an SLR.

I have attached a few samples, no editing other than resizing to post. Hope you enjoy them.

good luck with your new camera - I hope it brings you a lot of joy. I never knew Canon made a 28 - 135mm lens, I wonder how it compares to the 17 - 85mm IS
