Luckily, sometimes the parting results in something good.



The new macbook is everything I thought it would be. Although, I'm a little leery of the screen quality. In my opinion, it seems a lot washier than my 17" powerbook that I've recently sold to a MR forum member. I'm probably going to calibrate it though.

Otherwise, this SR Macbook isn't too bad. At least it's lighter than a 17" Powerbook, and makes taking notes easier.

I'll be holding a box just like that one when FedEx finally comes tomorrow (Tuesday). Nothing wrong with parting with some money for such fine equipment.

haha, I'm just super cheap. Any purchase over $200 freaks me out!
