i've been noticing some weird behavior on my iPhone. When i tap on an application it doesn't go into the app but it goes into edit mode where i can rearrange the app to another home screen or what not. After i hit the home button and tap on the app, it goes through, weird.

Second issue is when i close out of an app, it sometimes enters some random app, weird also.

Both of these issues happen randomly.

I use an iPhone 3g and i jailbroke it with quickpwn 2.1 for mac. I use winterboard with the bluebird theme and five icon dock. Anybody seen these issues before?

Thanks

Funny you should mention that, I've had the exact same problems with almost the exact same thing you did. 5 icon dock, blackbird, etc. The edit apps was a tad annoying because it would lag for a bit before doing that, and then go to edit apps. Led me to accidentally moving apps around my springboard when I didn't mean to.

I don't have a solution, I just figured it's a harmless perk of jailbreaking, better than some of the other problems people were having. I did remove the blackbird theme however, I'm just using the regular default iPhone theme that came with the phone now.

Unless I'm mistaken by the OP, I'm going to assume he's aware of the fact that holding an app is going to toggle the rearrange apps screen. The problem (and this is probably related to jailbreaking) is that sometimes it gets slightly laggy or the response is off by a bit and when simply tapping an app once (not holding the finger on the app), instead of opening the app it will toggle the rearrange wiggly thing. Probably someone will come along and tell you to reinstall the jailbreak, but honestly for me it's not that big of a deal.

Yes, I am aware that holding an app puts it in toggle mode to rearrange the apps. That's why in the original post i put "tap".
