Am I crazy or does anyone think the MBA would be great if it was a bit lighter.

I've had the MBA for 2 days now and I wish it was a bit lighter. Sure, when I first got it I was like WOW, but now... Not so much.

I also find it a bit top heavy. The screen side tends to flip backwards if i lean the MBA back. Maybe the key to lightening it further is to get a lighter screen unit.

Don't get me wrong, I love it! It's just that after 2 days, I'm not that impressed with the weight anymore (I'm not taking anything away from Apple). After all, it's the lightest notebook in the world. Apple spoil us so much, that even their own stuff doesn't impress after a while.:D

EDIT: My bad... The THINNEST notebook, not lightest. duh!

It could have been lighter if they used plastic... but would suck.

I think the weight is solid. I noticed the top heavy right away, but in my opinion the design is perfect (other than the bezel).

yes, it could be lighter. And the balance is very different from any other laptop I've had.

But I like the fact that they made it very solid. It feels like a tank compared to a Sony TZ for example, and it's still only a few ounces more than a TZ.
