Trying to open a .sitx file with Stuffit Expander 9. The icon bounces and then does nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Well the file is the new sit archive, you should update to 10 and see if it works, it could be a corrupt file. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/20954
