After I install something, I can't just hit the home button and go home, it stays locked in Cydia. I can navigate around Cydia and continue to do things, but neither the power button nor the home screen button work. I just have to let it run and the iphone eventually force quits the program. I can't even get the program to force quit by itself.

I am running a iphone 3g with 2.0.1 quickpwned.

Thoughts?

Nah force closing doesn't do it for some odd reason.

I have Dock installed and I thought maybe that would get me out the jam, but no luck with that either.

Jailbreak post 1.1.4 just is not the same.

Actually my problem was a lack of patience...it just took longer than expected. This time I just let it go and it reloaded the springboard after a bit.

EDIT: Yea, it's hit or miss. Sometimes it works if I wait long enough, other times it totally locks up and I have to do a hard reset.

There's a small reloading image at the top of the iPhone/iPod showing that Cydia is loading. Wait for it to disappear and then press the home button.
