How can i connect a late 2009 Mac Mini, to a 2019 Sony Tv (XG Series)? Is it possible? I wish to use the tv as the mini's display.

Yeah but you didn't tell us if you have the 43" version, or the 75" version...

You also didn't tell us if you're expecting it to look as sharp as an iPad, or if you're used to connecting the Mac to a 19" 720p LCD display that's also 10 years old.

Its a 55” Sony XG and I haven’t really used the mini at all all those years, it’s brand new and unused. ?

If your eyes are 1m away from the TV, you will stretch your eyes and necks to the extend that you would like to smash the TV.

If you sit further away, 1080p will just about the same as 4k.

However, since the TV would try to enhance the picture with 4k resolution, the signal delay would be significant.

Still images and text may not be an issue.

You won't want to be near a 55" tv running at 1080p.
It's not going to be "sharp", and I doubt there's anything you can do to fix that.

My opinion only, but you'd do better to drop the whole idea.
Get a 27" 1080p display.
It will look A LOT better.
