Should I get one for my sony a6000? I already have a Sony SAL18-250 mm lens before I bought the Sony a6000. But when I bought the Sony a6000 I also bought a Sony E 18-200 mm lens specifically built for the Sony a6000.

Should I return the Sony E 18-200 mm lens and just get the Sony A mount to E mount adapter to use my Sony SAL 18-250 mm lens with the Sony a6000? What are the pros and cons of the adapter and using an A lens for an E camera? I really don't mind keeping the E lens anyway.

Please advise. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Look closely at these adapters, some do not allow the camera to utilize the autofocus functionality of the lens, making it manual only. I have the E-mount 18-200 (SEL18200LE) and its a great lens. I'd keep the e-mount unless you will really miss the extra 50mm.
