If your were not permitted to have an iPhone, please vote which one you would choose to own. If you think this list is inferior, please discuss in the comments.

Pre +. The Nexus One looks good too, but I don't really want to be tied into all of google's services (don't really like any but gmail and maps).

I didn't vote because I've only used the Blackberry Bold, the Droid and the Pre (very briefly).

I would never use a Blackberry again. Out of what I've tried the Droid comes the closest to iPhone, IMO.

If I couldn't have an iPhone, then it wouldn't really matter. They're all pretty much the same.

I'd probably just get the cheapest non-WinMo and be done with it.

this is my feeling too, i would probably end up getting get the nexus because it's unlocked if cheaper phones could not be unlocked.

My vote to HTC HD2.

We have 4G in Moscow, so its very useful

Either an unlocked Nexus One with AT&T 3G bands that will hopefully come soon or a T-mobile Nexus One.

Yea that sucks that Nexus doesn't have AT&T 3G bands, it's the first Android phone that really had me interested. I'm one of those who always had great AT&T service with all my past phones, even back in the Cingular days. I'm up for trying out new phones, but I'm not going to switch carriers for a phone unless service becomes a problem.

Nexus FTW!! I also like the HTC HD2, but I refuse to use a WM phone again.

Too bad. Maybe I'm lucky... I can use any phone OS out there without problem. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Like children, I love them all.

Right now, I'm having fun with the Imagio and its digital FloTV. With the HTC skinning and WM 6.5, along with some terrific tweaks from the XDA folk, it's really quite nice, and a big change even over WM 6.0.

Showed it to my iPhone friends at a work luncheon the other day, and their jaws dropped. They were like me: their last exposure to WM was last year.

My Nexus one will be here tomorrow sold my 16G white 3GS for 550.00 will play with this till summer and then get my new iPhone all is good.
