It's only for sending MMS, not receiving it. Receiving MMS is not possible in the App Store unless Apple releases an app doing it.

The problem with any unofficial MMS app whether it be in the app store or for jailbroken phones when your carrier is AT&T is that if you have an iPhone plan then MMS is not enabled on your account, you can call AT&T and have the MMS pay per use feature added *BUT* their system thinks that is invalid for iPhone plans so in overnight batch it removes the feature.
I played around with SwirlyMMS when it was first coming out and found that out the hard way after spending considerable amount of time on the phone with AT&T.
I have to question the developer's claim to be able to support push notifications come September though, just how are they going to accomplish that feat? To do that they would need a server that listens for MMS messages sent to you, then notify you that you have a new MMS and I am pretty sure you can't setup a service like that with your actual phone number.
Did he speak in English or the garblese above?![]()
