We are finishing up a few final touches on Tweetbot 4. Thanks for your patience. We think it will be worth it. pic.twitter.com/E73N6AlgsY

I wish you guys would add more contrast to your latest Tweetbot apps. The above screenshots just look a cluttered mess of white. The header should be a different colour than the content at the very least.

Don't disagree, but the automatic dark mode negates this issue somewhat. With my settings I only ever see the white mode in very bright sunlight. Which is how all white apps should work, IMO.

Lets hope it will support split view.

And the new safari web view, so content blocking works. Installing a content blocker has made me realize how much I use the Internet in Tweetbot.

I'm fine with it not being a free upgrade, I've loved TweetBot since I started using TB2, gotta do my small part to keep supporting them.

I've paid for 2 versions of tweetbot, the Mac version and the iPad version, which hadn't seen an update since june 2014. People who bought the iPad app definitely deserve something. It basically became abandonware. Anyone still clinging to the thought that this is a struggling developer should reconsider their stance They have definitely made enough to hire more help. They have chosen not to or they just chose to ignore all those people who paid for the iPad app which they ignored after release.

I have no problem paying for apps and supporting devs. I will gladly pay for an app that is useful and that I like. I haven't even thought twice about paying for all their other apps, including that $20 Mac app. I'll be furious if they charge existing users for this for iPad app. And I am someone who thinks getting furious about an app is probably ridiculous...but there it is.

Sorry for the rant but it really has been quite annoying.

I will pay. I do feel that Tweetbot has a very abysmal update rate, but I love the app very much and if it helps the developers any, I will pay.

Come on, the iPad app was released in 2012, we got a lot of updates for our money.

It wasn't even supposed to get more updates, Tweetbot 3 was planned for iPad but it fell behind and was abandoned in favour of just going straight to Tweetbot 4.

I agree the wait has been annoying but if I were you I'd try to either be happy we're finally getting a full scale update (universal no less by the sounds of) it or I'd prepare to be furious because it will be a paid update and it deserves to be.

I would love to give native Twitter App the boot. I didn't buy Tweetbot 3 because of the mixed reviews. I'll be interested to see what people say about Tweetbot 4.

Even more pressing would be a Win 10 App. The native one is awful!

It was submitted yesterday so it hopefully won't be too long. No 3D Touch yet, though, for you 6S owners.
