Just curious.
Also, feel free to share; do you like stock wallpaper? Ones you find online? Custom ones that you've made or photos that you've taken? Are there special ones that you frequently come back to or never change at all?
For me, I used to be in the very frequent category, but after finding that repeated background changes seemed to be linked to a rare camera/software glitch I was experiencing (I made a thread about it a while back) I try not to change more than once a day.
Each iOS version usually has 1 or 2 stock wallpapers that I like. Currently I like the dark mode versions of some of the painted landscapes, and the 12 Pro exclusive live ones. But personal favourites that I tend to return to are a couple of photos taken by me: Along the shore at a beach resort in Barbados at dusk, and a close-up of a bunsen burner flame where different chemicals make the flame multi-coloured.
I think I like good stock wallpapers because they are designed specifically to look good on the iPhone, after all. But I also like using my own photos because I know that they make my home/lockscreen truly unique from anyone else's.
