A Poll for Gold Edition Female Buyers

Where's the choices for alternate or multiple bands? Don't you think that the bands will likely drive the sales, even more than the size of the face?

Looking at it, the poll doesn't make too much sense. The most feminine Edition models with the bright red and rose gray straps are only available in 38mm. The ones with the midnight blue and black sport bands are only available in 42mm, which severely limits the pool of women interested in those models. Only the rose gold with white sport band is available in both 38mm and 42mm.

There are not really any choices with bands when it comes to the Edition models because of the color-keyed crown colors and/or different gold accents.

You should be voting in male buyers poll then. I do not care if one combo limits a gender or what kind of bands the gold buyers will be buying. The poll speaks for itself:

1. Gender of the buyer
2. Size or sizes of the gold watches they are buying? How many? And for whom and what specific gender(s) of the people they are buying for.
3. How many gold buyers are buying all 3 (i.e, including the other 2 non-gold) for themselves.

If you want to add more details as to what bands etc ... Help yourself and write it in your posts.

I am female, and I don't plan on buying any gold watch. But from the pictures on the Apple website, I think my most favorite look is the rose gold with rose grey band, followed by the yellow gold with blue leather band.

I don't know which size I would want. For traditional watches, I'd go for the smaller size, but since this is a Smartwatch, I'd like the larger size for visibility and ease of use, if it looks okay on my wrist and is comfortable to wear.

Seriously, despite the media / ad agencies hyping up dolled up women spending too much money on jewels, clothing, etc, in my experience, most women are more practical than men. It's men who blow money buying things like expensive gadgets, cars, luxury watches, etc.

That said, if our men wants to buy watches for us, we wouldn't say no...

I don't think that is an appropriate comment. Maybe women don't like the gold, maybe they aren't trying to have a visual peen of 'wealth', maybe they rather be more cautious or maybe, just maybe there aren't a lot of women on this forum.

Males and females are equally likely to buy the iPhone, but even the iPhone sub-forum is disproportionately male.

I can't argue with that.
Thankfully I have never been 'Involved' with any ladies who are needy in the expensive trinket department.
Likewise I am of the same opinion.
It worries me personally, for example if your love for someone can only be shown when the price tag of something passes a certain amount.

Seriously, women just do it, less talks and whining in internet forums. They will be in full force. I cannot wait to see them especially the fashionistas out in the streets wearing their watch.
