As crazy as it sounds, I found that wireless speeds are *significantly better* when I did either of the following:
1) Removing the outer casing on my Mac Mini
2) Same as 1) except I further detach the airport antenna from the logic board, snake a small signal cable in through that air vent, and hook it up to a Cantenna
Either way both involves some kind of hardware hack, which raises the question, are the issues we are experiencing due to hardware, or is it really software only?
Or perhaps it is due to some issues with the software that manifests itself when the signal is less than ideal?
