i just unlocked using blacksnow and i was wondering about data a few questions i have
1. will using wifi run up bill
2.what plan should i get to use internet on iphone reguarly
3.should i leave wifi off
thanks guys i know these are some noob questions but i need the help!

You don't say where you are from but I'll assume you're in the USA. I suspect you're not, but my telepathy application has crashed at the moment

1. Using wi-fi will not add to your iPhone monthly carrier charges
2. In USA you have the choice of AT&T or T-Mobile as you have unlocked. Both charge you for a data plan, ie for allowing you to access data via the cellular network. T-Mobile 3G in the USA is not compatible with the iPhone.
3. Why would you want to leave wi-fi off?
 
I'm in the us and last question should I reset as new iPhone before the unlock cause it's my old phone and I'm giving it to my gf to use on tmobile

I didn't reset mine as a new phone and it seems OK. Some people are advising you should. If you want to get rid of all the texts to other girlfriends, and their phone numbers, etc, yes, set it up as a new phone ;)

Wifi is free many places, there will be no charges to your phone bill. Some hotels charge extra, but it's free just about anywhere else. Even Bob Evans has free WiFI now.
