Hey everyone, I can't believe how hard it is to find a good call recorder on ios. On android there is a plethora of call recorders to pick, choose and refuse from but sadly on ios there are only two which are both wanting.

Let me first start with Audio Recorder.

Issues:

1. If you try to email a call that is more than 10 minutes that email will not send.

2. When you access the saved audio files, they are not stored as a complete conversation rather as microphone and speaker i.e. the call is split between both parties. Apparently, you have to use software to join them up.

3. The calls are not stored with the date of the recording and the person's name so it is next to impossible to identify a call you are looking for.

I was about to buy super recorder but after reading up I am on the fence because it seems to have its own set of issues with literally no customer support.

How hard can it be to create a decent ios call recorder?

Damn.

super recorder is awesome, ive used it for a couple of years, no issues, and lots of support. dev is active on twitter.

Super Recorder can be only reason to JB a phone. Worth every penny. Love it from day one i installed.

Which repo is it on?

Found the repo. But what is the difference between call recorder and super recorder.

call recorder is the basic version. super recorder has a couple of other tweaks also built in. for the extra buck, well worth it. i have it on 3 cell phones in our house and am happy.

I use TapeACall pro. Got it from AppCake. Easy to use and the playback quality's pretty good, though it can only record for around 2-3 hours.

I now have super recorder. It seems much better than audio recorder.

Right now I think we as users should be able to demand a refund for poor apps and/or cydia needs to have a comprehensive review section so we can comment on the functionality of apps.

Thanks everyone for replying to me and listening to me vent :)
