I hate the name Macbook Pro. If i upgrade, i will refuse to call it MBP. I will call it Powerbook Core Duo. Or the Intelbook Pro. Or maybe just Powerbook G5. Any suggestions?

I'm going to agree with Mord on this one.

The name doesn't mean a thing. It's a computer.

Just as long as you don't call it that to anyone who knows better, you'll be fine. Otherwise, they'll either think you're behind the times (or have an ultra-top-secret-very-hush-hush-test-model from Apple...)

I refuse to call mine a MacBook Pro too - I call it a GeorgeClooneyBook Core Duo :D

Whatever boats your float.. I've (seriously this time) got used to the name MacBook Pro.

You're a bit late complaining, you do know the MBP came out, like, 2 years ago don't you?

A thought...You could just be like the loads of us that simply call their computers by their HD name. For example, my MBP is "Apollo," my iMac is "Flagship," and my G4 Tower is "Clockwork."

Yar.
