Hello, I am facing a huge dilemma. I am a perfectionist and I have always focused on quality, not quantity. In general, I am a musician and my hearing is very developed, which is why I am quite curious about the sound quality. I am currently using Audio Technica headphones (ATH-CK3TW), which have great sound and bass, support "Hey, Siri", are waterproof, have touch controls and have a very durable battery. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are plug-in type and I have to put them in my ear. They are not comfortable for conversation either because I literally can't hear my voice and I hear how I shout at times, which is quite unpleasant, especially if I'm outside. That's why I'm thinking about taking AirPods 2 (I don't like AirPods Pro, I'm sorry), and whether they are a good investment. I had tried them once and they are very comfortable and light, but I thought the sound was not very good.

The AirPods became popular because of the convenience factor, not sound quality. So you may be disappointed. I love my 2nd Gen AirPods because they automatically pair with all of my Apple devices and I love how they seem to disappear in my ears when I wear them.

The 2nd Gen Airpods sound pretty close to the old wired EarPods that Apple used to ship in the iPhone Box.

I can't find information about wheter they have Hi Fi music support anywhere. Do you know anything about this?

I have had every version of AirPods. The first and 2nd gen sounded identical to me, the thing I liked the most about 2nd gen was the Qi case. Pros sound much better to me. I think the are slightly better than the wired ones that came with the iPhones but not by much.

after much deliberation today I bought Airpods 2 and they are amazing! I was most impressed by the noice canceling, which is just brutally good!

So you went for the Pros?
I don't like AirPods Pro because of the shape and mostly because they are "plug" type. For half a year I was wearing Audio Technica plug-in headphones that were incredibly sound but very uncomfortable. They slipped from my ears, fell... These are perfect for me ?

AirPod 2s don’t have active noise cancellation, so I didn’t understand your post. Enjoy your headphones.

This is my choice and honestly doesn't care what you think;) It strange because when I'm on the street and cars pass by my friends hear only my voice. And this is MY choice and honestly doesn't care what you think?have a nice day

You might just keep an eye on the news. Some were saying there could be Airpods 3 announced this week.

They were just confused like me, not trying to be rude. You were talking about mic cancellation, and they were talking about noise cancellation for the part in your ears, which only the pros have.

Really hope you enjoy the Airpods! It's always fun to get a new tech device!

Hey,
I can only agree with Perezr10. I have exactly the same opinion about the AirPods. There is nothing easier for Apple- products at the moment.
Kind regards
