This is a Windows related question, but this is the most helpful forum I know of so I am hoping someone can offer some suggestions.

I have a client who has a huge 300 page Word document he wants to convert to PDF. He is on Windows, and wants software to do it himself.

Are there good freeware apps or free plug-ins for Word on Windows? Ones that are fairly easy for someone who is not overly computer literate to understand? I'd guess for someone who's knowledge is limited to Word, a plug-in may be the best route.

If freeware is not available, is there good commercial software you can recommend?

A Google search brings up a million apps, and being mainly a Mac user I have no idea which are good and which aren't. I thought someone here might have some personal experience.
