I have a question can the new imac be upgraded because im not sure how much gb do i need? and if yes does the apple store do it for me ??

You mean memory? Because,yes, upgrading memory is very easy (I believe) and yes apple can do that for you...other things maybe not
I am sure that someone will find out how to do it, if not, apple may be able to do it. I think the easiest way is to get an external hard drive and hide it under your desk like I do with my mini. 
With regards to taking the iMac apart to upgrade things like the hard drive, etc... I noticed when looking at them (and indeed this fact is trumpeted on the Apple web site) that there are no seams in the aluminum casing, other than the tiny memory door at the bottom. From what I can tell, the entire thing is one piece, completely enclosed, save for the screen. I will be fascinated to see someone figure out just how the hell you get in there.
I saw that as well and that was my original thought, but then I realized that if something breaks the case will have to be able to be removed so that it can be fixed or replaced. I am not sure how it will come off, but I have no doubts that it will.
My question is whether you can disassemble one of these enough to get to the stand mount, since I would like to use my existing vesa mount from my 20" iMac G5 (2005). I don't think I am daring enough to try this myself.

It would appear that the glass bezel needs to be lifted off first (they show someone using a suction-cup device of some sort), then underneath are screws that attach the aluminum casing to the main assembly. The pictures do not indicate how the glass is attached or whether they needed to break an adhesive seal. Scary .
