So, yesterday my MacBook issued an ominous warning: "your harddrive is nearly full." I was shocked because I thought I had plenty of space. Had some software gobbled up my space? The computer went to some dialogue where it suggested (among others) iCloud documents, and informed me I had used 300Gb of my 500Gb. Does that count as nearly full ? Was this an aggressive attempt to push people to iCloud? Or a bug?
No, that's not it. Here is what get info reports: "Available: 198.43 GB (18.75 GB purgeable). Used: 300,617,002,092 bytes (300.62 GB on disk)" That doesn't count as "nearly full" in my vocabulary.
