Nice to know that the 2x lens switches seamlessly during video recording. I was wondering how that would work for video. Does Anyone know if video recording is already zoomed somewhat when using the wide angle lens? On the previous phones, for example, you didn't shoot video at the widest 28mm focal length.

This is pretty cool:
The 2x works in ALL modes (photo, video, time-lapse, slo-mo, and even pano), which surprised me. I didn’t expect it in each mode, and I really enjoyed shooting 2x panos, capturing extra detail in the area of the landscape I found most interesting.

Best camera review yet. And some of the best pics yet. Great stuff!

Wait I have a dumb question. Was the whole video itself also shot on the iPhone 7?

Yup, if you scroll down to the bottom of the post you can see what else they used (camera mount stabilizer etc) all iPhone 7 plus pictures and video which is amazing.

Very much so! It's amazing how far phones have progressed with video and photos.
