Only 1 new wallpaper, and a set of 3 removed?

I get it. No one cares because you can download any wallpaper you want anyway, but I think that a fresh set of stock wallpapers adds to the polish and “newness” of a new OS, and I don’t know why old favourites have to be removed each year. Like a few still pictures take up too much space on the device or something?

Anyway, it just bugs me, is all.

It doesn't bother me but you're not wrong. It might be a small thing for you to complain about, but it also would have been a small thing for them to add more wallpapers.

They used to have some good wallpapers.

Now they just scribble some colors on Microsoft paint & call it a day.

And as displays have only gotten better, they could really show them off with some wallpapers designed to look gorgeous on them, but they don’t even seem to try anymore.

Very true. macOS gets beautiful wallpapers & Apple TV gets beautiful aerial screen savers. iOS gets a tree and rainbows lol

You wanna know something even more annoying? Apole DID make 2 new wallpapers. An all red and an all blue version of the iOS 15 default wallpaper.

The catch? They’re only available as CarPlay backgrounds.

Yeah, it's a small thing, but annoying. I usually use the default or one of the new wallpapers after upgrading so it feels like I have something new...but this one just isn't doing it for me. I don't know why, but it feels like it was taken from a collection that didn't make the cut for an older iOS version. I'll probably be downloading the blue and green wallpaper from iOS 13. I think that one is my favorite.

iOS 14.2 came out with new wallpapers last year, so maybe there's a chance we'll get some more new ones later. 🤞
