A slew of 2nd gen cases from Belkin!

OMG thank you!!!! You are my HERO! I have one coming as soon as tomorrow and I couldn't find a case anywhere! :):):)

Update on cases for the iPod Touch 2nd Gen from Belkin!

AT BEST BUY! Yup, not at the Apple Store, but BEST BUY!

Couple things:
-People said the new Volume button on the side is hard to push, this case makes it ALOT easier.
-It fits PERFECTLY!

I'm sooo happy right now. I have this case now with the Powersupport Anti-Glare Film. (Good enough protection for me.) Now me and my new pod can go on adventures instead of sitting around next to my computer covered by the cleaning cloth.
 
You bought it at best buy? Can you post a link to it on best buys site or post the sku number from the receipt? Thanks.

Thanks iTouch1987. I ordered a InvisbileShield a few days ago from zagg but it hasn't shipped yet. Is this basically just a case to keep it in when your not using it? Not like the invisibleshield? If its just the case I think I'll buy it. I'll just have to be gentle when using it out of the case until the InvisibleShield comes.

Total money spent in the last week : ipod touch 16 GB ($302), InvisibleShield ($25), microfiber bag from InvisibleShield ($5), and now this new case ($25). I'm going broke :D

Do you recommend me buying this?

Thanks for the info. I'll walk over to Best Buy tomorrow to check if they've got them. Mine too has been sitting on an anti-static cleaning cloth on my desk, covered by the supplied iPod cleaning cloth. :rolleyes:

I don't have experience with the invisible shield but it doesn't ship until the 29th of sept. If you're willing to splurge another 25 bucks, go ahead. It feels good in my hands and gives me a good sense of security with the case on.

The case wraps around the edges snuggly and has great grip. LOL I sound like an ad for this.

Make sure it says on the box - "for the New iPod touch"

That's their 2g case selection. The case mentioned above has made it to the site. However without a picture / ability to order it.

Good luck everyone! I know I'll be hunting down a case for my 2g touch that just came today.
 
The nearest best buy for me is about 45 miles away, meaning if I try to call them first to see if they have any I'll probably just end up frustrated.

I'll have to find another reason to head that way to make the disappointment that they don't have any less painful.
 
I just got this belkin case shown above from best buy, only one they had. It was actually in a diff isle than the 1G cases.

Just confirmed mine had them as well, same model.

Seems Belkin shipped out the red and black ones early. I think I'll just return it and get a diff colored one later :p

Fits snug.
Volume button on the side is easier to press.
Protects the edges where my Power Support Anti-Glare Film doesn't.

Great combination I think...this case and film. I feel as if it's very safe now.

Anyone know of a hip case that would fit the touch with the case on?
 
My only worry is the fact that this cover completely covers the wireless antenna. I don't notice any significant drop in signal strength, anybody else?

hey, that case is looking pretty good, but I'm holding out for either the black/white or the cool grey/ grapefruit colors. Yellow on cases just always looks good to me for some reason. Also, a heads up for anyone interested in a hard, clear, plastic case. Agent18.com (I loved their ipod video 5g case) is having a huge sale on their cases for the 1g. So, any old touch owner looking for a new case should check that out, and I'm hoping they come out with some nice ones for the 2g
