A strange and somewhat annyoing sound...

so i just got my black c2d macbook the other day and i hear this high pitched
"squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" coming from what sounds like the screen

i was just wondering if it is a problem and something to be concerned about

Bit vague on the description. Sure it came from your MB?

I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't occur again.

i really couldn't get more descriptive than that. that is basically what the sound is like and when i try to locate it my ear always ends up by the screen. so far the only time i havnt heard it is when i open photo booth.

yea, i get the same sound too. can't really explain it more than what was said above. it also stops when i open up photobooth. anyone else know if this is normal or not?

Yea, its normal, but the "squee" sound is hardly audible!! You sure have sharp ears.
