iPod A Tagging Question - (Character Limits?)

Hi,

I've recently started the task of converting all my dvds into digital format playable on my Apple devices although when it comes to adding tv/film show descriptions it seems there is a character limit? and misses off half of the description.

I have been copy and pasting show descriptions from the internet and 9/10 it doesn't copy the whole description although when double checking shows I have purchased in iTunes their descriptions seem longer and yet has no problem displaying the full text?

Any ideas?

I think there are actually two 'description' tags, a long and a short. I can't recall if you can directly edit he former straight from iTunes, but there is a script to allow you to write to it on Doug's scripts site. Some third party tagging programs also allow you to directly interact with the long description tag.
