Why? What makes them so unattractive? You must have some objective reasons for your opinion? Is it the wood? The design? I'm thinking of buying one, so I'd love to hear the reasons for your hatred of the product. Thanks.

Has anyone who has ordered this heard any news about when they are going to ship? I ordered one on 4/10, when it was estimated shipping "mid-May". Now when I look at their website it shows "late-May".

never mind, I just got an answer to my own question - per Pad & Quill's response to my question on their FB page, "for new orders, we have pushed back the date a little. Older orders are still on track to start shipping in the next day or so." Yay!
