I'm hunting to find if I can get access to a list of all WIFI networks I've previously connected to and when. If I can also view previously 'forgotten' networks that would be awesome.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Can do it on Mac but I don't think iOS does it.

BetterWifi7 gives a list of known networks and their passwords.
Doesn't show the ones that you've "forgotten" however.

Would this be through keychain access? Looking at that, it lists loads of WIFI networks that I haven't connected my Macbook up to, but ones that I have with my iPhone...maybe this is what I'm looking for - how can that happen?

You may consider "Wifi Passwords" for your purposes, although forgotten networks may not be stored.

I used to use Wifipasswords but am now using "NetworkList". Its built into the settings app (adds an additional menu screen when you go under Wi-Fi settings).

Cool. Would this show a list of 'forgotten' networks as well?

I just tested it and, unfortunately, it looks like it does not.

Arghhhh - that's unfortunate. Thanks for looking.

There must be a way to access a list of forgotten networks though, where do they go when 'forgotten'?

I've googled it to death and can't seem to find any solid info...I'm not admitting defeat!
