I think it's generally very cute and easily navigable. I find it a little visually distracting that the white blocks and shadowing are drawn in such a way that they are in front of the boxes with the text in them and that the text appears on the "background" when you scroll over it... it just seems kind of backwards to me. Not in a seriously bad way, but I don't particularly like that. It might be a little better if the text in the big box were not shadowless... because that particularly makes it look as if it is awkwardly at the "bottom of the well."

Also in Firefox, I see this problem -- there is a residual ring around the previously highlighted menu item:

And actually a separate problem in Safari -- the cut-outs are not aligned with the overall bar:

But overall, very nice work!

Very nice. I find the shadowed text a bit fussy myself (less is more), and I'm not sure what the point was of the rather clever transition in the picture on the bottom left. I'd make it a bit simpler, graphically-speaking myself (this website is a good example of simplicity!). But good work!

In Camino the white is aligned, but the diagonal stripes aren't:

But I think it's nice and clean and easy to navigate overall. :)

Great design! I also had some problems with alignment (the one mentioned, and on the "Perspectives" box) I really like it! I'm using Safari, by the way.

I also like the design of the site.
One suggestion though: if you're planning having fairly long pages of information, I'd reconsider the layout with text in a box scrollable by two buttons. The idea and implementation is nice, but: when I surf, I'm very big on the scroll wheel, so it creates a small annoyance if I suddenly can't use it. I'm sure there are others like me, and having lots of text squeezed into a small box can be become hard to read.
