I have an I phone 3GS version 3.1.2 (7D11). I bought it new in Nov 09. (no firmware upgrade yet). I have AT&T as my carrier, I used BlackRa1n to jail break, but i experienced many hang issues during internet-tethering, so I had to restore multiple times ( once a week on average) to restore to "original factory setting using Itune) and re-jailbreak using blackRa1n. My last restore was a day before Apple released 3.1.3. I have not done any tethering in fear of my past "hang issue" and subsequent "Restore to original factory setting and involuntary upgrade to 3.1.3 which comes with the restore". I read that it is best to use cydia "make my life easier" full option to save (what ever, ECID,...) as a contingency, but I still have co confirmation from Saurik's server. I see "this device has a pending TSS request" on the top of my cydia home page for a week now. How long does it take to get confirmation? Has something gone wrong? Should I be re-doing the save, and how? Can I be using Ipwnage 3.1.5 to save my current setting? Please advise. Thanks.

A week old "this device has pending TSS request".

If you did not press the Make my life easier prior to Apple removing the signing of IPSW 3.1.2, the SHSH for 3.1.2 did not get saved. The Apple signing as to be active for that to work.
It was shortly after 3.1.3 was released that Apple withdrew the signing of the 3.1.2 firmware.
Cydia will say it has a pending request forever since Apple is no longer signing the old firmware, the request can't even be completed.

Any solution to save the image before it gets over written by a future "phone-hang" that requires factory setting restore?
