I know the Mac isn't the focus this year, but with certain refreshes coming due and the great news of steam for Mac. Wouldn't it be great if apple gave us an affordable mid range gaming desktop Mac?
It could fit nicely between an iMac and a Mac pro.
Just call it Mac. Like matchbook and MacBook pro The power and price closer to an iMac but the form factor with user changeable gpu of the Mac pro.

This is always talked about but apple won't likely release a mid-range tower. Sorry buddy.

Apple giving people what we want? Hahahaha, haha, oh, oh lawd, hahaha, wait, hah...haha...*sigh*

That was great.

Apple doesn't believe people know what they want. Steve himself has said that they don't have focus groups because people don't know what they want until you give it to them...

He is actually not quite off there. No matter how you put it, we "the common people", dont know what we want until someone tells us.

Take a look at the iPad as an example.. A nice product without doubt, but i've already experienced so many people around me that have bought one, but still doesnt really know what to do with it. Heck, even people with 13" MBP's have considered getting an iPad instead..

So, S. Jobs is not that far off after all ;)

As for a Mid-Range Gaming Mac, that would be a welcome addition. iMac's are good but needs more, same as MBPs. Mac Pros are awesome but the pricetag does not spell "Gaming only" :)
