Hi all, I recently acquired an older Mac model A1225. Serial W88054DDX89.

This is a no boot up issue. This is what I know:

Diagnostics LED 1 is on solid
LED's 2 and 3 light solid when you press the power button
The DVD does an eject cycle
No hard drive spin up I can hear
No fan movement
No video (black screen)
Video card is AMD

Any advice appreciated.

you have a bad graphics card. They are on eBay for ~200$ and are not super complicated to repair. Occasionally the card will fail on the internal display but the external port will work. Its only a test but either way you definitely have a bad graphics card.

Hello, thank you for your help. I suspected it but just wanted to be sure. I can get on on eBay pretty cheap.
