It is weird in my country Vietnam that now all AASP ask for original (VAT) invoice in order to service the officially distributed iPhone in the country (which have the part number VN/A).
This means customers who are gifted or win the iPhone through a competition or game cannot send their iPhone to AASP for service because they don't often have the VAT invoice.
Ridiculously, there are some third parties who charge $100 and send those no-bill iPhone devices to AASP without any problem. I doubt that the AASP in Vietnam shake hands with those parties and abuse the right to ask for proof of purchase that Apple grants them.
