ABC on Boxee for AppleTV

Anyone know when we can expect ABC and/or Discovery Channel on Boxee for the AppleTV? Anybody have any inside information (other than the forum/Boxee website says it should be coming soon)?

Also, does anybody know what the "BitTorrent" channel is on Boxee for AppleTV? Can somebody explain what it is used for and what it does?

Best place for to check is the boxee forums, you will hear snippets from time to time.

For a while there, the Boxee team was really good at coordinating their releases for all platforms. This changes with the netflix fiasco at the end of the year. They went from promising netflix, to delaying it only on the ATV, to recently stating there are now no plans for netflix on the ATV. While I do believe we'll see ABC at some point on ATV (discovery, less of a chance), I don't think the Boxee team is very focused on ATV right now. They are a small group and they are focused mostly on the business side of boxee at the moment.

In other words, ABC is probably coming, but I wouldn't hold my breath...

Its all about the devil Silverlight. They can't figure out a way to get that in the ATV environment. No Silverlight, no NetFlix (for now).

Yeah....we need another decoder. Hmm, there's what, 20 now? Don't forget the Google one (That nobody is using).

I love my Apple TV, but for Boxee, it's not the primary development platform. And that's unfortunate. Instead, I watch Netflix on my Roku player, or on my laptop.

I'd rather watch Netflix on my Apple TV, but I'm glad there are other options.
