??? about ATV .. how to delete and convert files

Yesterday I received my new ATV 160Gb model.
I have it working but have several questions.

1st. how can I remove files from the ATV that I have synced from my computer?
So far I have not found a way to remove some of the files that I transfered.

2nd I have a 720p.wmv movie that I want to install on the ATV... how can I do this?
Do I have to convert it somehow? If so what do I use and how do I use the program?

Sorry for such "DUMB" questions but I'm new to apple (6 months) and really new to ATV ;-)

Please any and all help is needed.

To remove files from the ATV, go into iTunes, select the ATV, then select the tab for whatever file type you want to remove (video, music, etc.) Change your settings to either sync fewer/different movies or to not sync any of them. Then re-sync.

Windows media player files will not work on the ATV, so you'll need to convert it. I never bother with wmv files, so I can't be of help there. Sorry.

You might want to look into patching your ATV to be able to play alost all kinds of media files.
