About EFI32 and x64 systems

Hi people, how are you? I hope good. I knew that it's possible to install Windows 7 x64 in one Mac Pro 1.1, but it's safe? As EFI32 is something in the motherboard and it's 32-Bit, running a 64 bit system, even with a 64 bit CPU, won't force the motherboard and crash it? Sorry, I know about computers at certain point, about EFI I don't understand it.
