As we all know Apple has transferred Chinese iCloud data to the data center in China. So Chinese government will undoubtedly force Apple to hand over any information of any customers it wants stored in that iCloud . I just want to know, if I use a U.S. Apple ID in China, is there a chance that my information is not stored in that damn data center in China?

Your iCloud data is linked to your address when setting up and linking ApplePay/Location of Setup. Also, as your iCloud ID is sued to purchase apps, that physical address determines your data's location.

I don't see Apple shipping off customer data to China if they have a US based address and pings.
