Well Hello everybody. I have the free version of Malwarebytes. I was wondering if it is worth upgrading to Malwarebytes Premium. You have to pay for it. Is it worth it? You can find it, on the free version of Malwarebytes. I guess what I am asking is, if it is necessary to upgrade and for the Premium version, or does the free version do the job and is enough. Thank you!

In my opinion, the free version is all you need. However, I recommend using the Detect X Swift app instead. It's faster and does a much better job of detecting and removing adware and malware from your Mac.

chscag is right.
The "free version" of MalwareBytes is all you need.
Just remember to run it once or twice a week.

I've always used the free version and never had any problems. It was recommenced to me by Apple (unofficially) years ago and it's the only one I've used on all my Mac's. Never paid for it, but was wondering which is why I stumbled on this thread. Will stick with the free version.
