If they sell well, don't expect a price drop from the carriers or stores in a hurry.
Paparallel importers already have them cheaper here in NZ but you have to pay import duty and if you get a lemon, it can be a mission trying to resolve anything. But carriers and stores can be a pain too

I keep being annoyed about the price difference UK / EU <> US as well. Bear in mind though - depending on state, the price does not include sales tax ...

Selling price in EU last october:750 euros
Selling price at the moment is between 500 and 600 euros from what I have seen here and there, thus 30% in 6 months.

It really depends on your patience and budget threshold...

Depending on which carrier you have and what country you live in.

From what I've seen the off contract prices of current model year flagship devices really don't change. The Galaxy S5 has been $599.99 at full price for Verizon since it's release.

I think it's only $599.99 on Verizon. All the other carriers are closer to $700.
