I downloaded the freeware version of Shapeshifter so that I could modify my icons and what not. Now that I'm done with it, I want to delete that program. I've dragged it to the trash bin, but it won't delete no matter what I do. The message i get is "cocoastuff in use", "shapeshifter in use, cannot delete." I know the program itself isn't running! Any ideas how to get rid of it? Every so often I get a huge banner on my screen telling me to register the Shapeshifter program; it's getting very annoying.

Thanks.

I believe you'll need to disable whatever Shapshifter enabled. If you could just download the trial and change what you wanted, there would be no need to purchase the program

you have to remove all of the files it installed, which are located in the Install Log for Shapeshifter. It still doesn't delete everything because it records that your trial version expired.
