Just downloaded the new, free Dave Matthews video from Itunes. Have a 15" SR MBP. The video quality at full & smaller screens is lousy ... very grainy, etc. Is this a defect w/my computer; is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks for any advice.
 
I don't think it should be showing up as you describe it - the video card in that are perfectly adequet to display a music video...
 
Probably because the downloaded video resolution is 640x480 and you are stretching that to fill your screen. When you scretch a video beyond its optimum resolution you loose a hell of a lot of quality.

That's what HD (Hi-Defintion) is for - its optimum resolution suits laptops and big flat panel TV's.

I can't find the video you are talking about though.
