The results in the Storage tab in About This Mac are way off.

I've only used like 36% of the space used on my SSD but it's clear Apple can't calculate it correctly. Anyone else having this problem?

You can see the miscalculation in the attached image.

EDIT: Turns out other people have this issue.

Well you are using an unreleased OS. Perhaps you should report the bug instead of complaining here.

I'm not complaining, all I'm doing is asking if other people are having this issue.

Also I have reported it.

Yes, same issue, reported it and this has been posted a few times already on this forum. Search is helpful for this issue

Try this fix posted elsewhere. It fixed the issue for me on multiple Macs.

1. Open terminal and paste:

mdutil -s /

2. than paste:

sudo mdutil -E /

3. Give some time for spotlight to index your files...

EDIT: Turns out other people have this issue.

Go in system prefs- Spotlight- Confidentiality (or privacy)- click on + at the bottom and select your HDD- Click Ok

After just deselect it with -

And enjoy it!
