After I updated to 10.10.5 my storage shows some inconsistency on my RMB. I don't have near that many apps installed. According to the image below I have around 119 gb of space being used but up above it only shows about 43 GB being used. Is there a way to fix this or do I even need to worry about fixing this? The app portion grew after the update to 10.10.5.

Run the command below in Terminal to reindex Spotlight and fix this. But it will probably come back. This seems to be borked in Yosemite.

Code:
sudo mdutil -E /

Thanks for the response. I re-indexed the entire volume using the guide below and after a reboot it seemed to have fixed the problem. Is there a difference between the terminal command and the way apple instructs you in the guide?
