About to buy a used android tablet....

Hello, im about to buy a like new android tablet, just had a question.... do android have like icloud or something? do i need to make sure the account is logged off or what?
I know with ipad/iphones you restore it and if its not stolen you can log in with your apple id..... same process? or do i go anywhere on settings?

Yes make sure you can make it through setup process before buying

I'e just done a factory reset on an old nexus 7 and it didn't ask me for password details to reset it at all bizarrly, oh, and as a question of what to get used... any of the galay tab S models wont do you wrong. My mother has an original tab s gen 1, and it still flies... Id have no hesitation getting one. The screen is still better than any iPad ever. Its beautiful plus the ratio is better for movies etc...
