AC Adapter Buzzing

I hope this has not been asked, or even part of the normal operation of the AC Adapter that came with my iBook, but recently it has began to buzz. I am not sure if it always made the sound, but lately I have noticed. It is audible from 2-3 feet away in a quiet room.

Any help or advice would be great. Or being shunned if it is normal.

I believe that it is normal when you have used the AC adapter for a while.
